One boss, one assembly line, and a factory full of pests with phones.

The situation
The workers walked out. The pests walked in.
A brutally out-of-touch fast-food boss has a problem: the entire workforce is on strike over a rampant pest infestation. Calling an exterminator would cost money. Missing the next order would cost more.
So the CEO rolls up a silk sleeve and works the assembly line personally – catching buns, stacking patties and shipping orders – while rats, roaches, ants, spiders, flies and wasps do everything they can to make sure the shift ends in disaster.
Internal memoRe: the pest situationFrom: The CEOTo: All staff (currently on strike)There is no budget for an exterminator. Until you come back to work, I will run the assembly line myself, and every order goes out on time. I will deal with the pests personally.– Management
Pick a sideOne headset. A whole swarm.
One player straps into VR as the CEO. Everyone else joins on their phone as a pest. Same room, same factory, very different jobs.
The CEO
Run the whole assembly line alone, and keep the food moving no matter what crawls onto it.
- Catch ingredients as they come out of the portal and stack them onto the right plate.
- Read the tickets on the factory screens – each order is a picture, not a list – and serve it before the customer runs out of patience. Serve it early and they leave a tip.
- Swat, spray, zap and trap anything with too many legs.

VSThe Pests
Scurry, climb and fly through the factory with one goal: make sure the CEO fails.
- Shove food off the line, steal it, or haul it back to the nest. Every customer who walks out pays the swarm.
- Web, grease and spoil the ingredients the CEO still needs.
- Pull the factory’s levers: halt the line, make it surge, or kill the lights.

The headset rotates: every player spends part of the match on each side, and your score follows you.SabotageFour ways to ruin a lunch rush
Pests don’t just get in the way. They work against the factory itself.
01Levers
Hold a lever for a few seconds and the line halts, surges to a frantic speed, or the room drops to emergency lighting. The handle swinging over is the CEO’s cue to come and pull you off.
02Webbed, greased, spoiled
A webbed item can’t be lifted. A greased one squirms out of the hand. A spoiled one still ships – it just pays less.
03Theft
Rats eat food where it stands. Ants carry it home – and every item delivered to the nest buys a pest a faster respawn.
04The CEO’s hands
A cockroach or spider clinging to a forearm costs the CEO a whole hand until they pick it off.
How a match worksClock in. Swap out. Top the scoreboard.
The headset picks a game mode – Beginner, Standard, Veteran or Chaos, from long 5:00 rounds to frantic 1:30 ones, with customers who wait longer or walk out sooner – or Custom. In every turn, each player does one round as the CEO.
Join with a code
The headset sets up the match and shows a 6-digit code. Phones on the same Wi-Fi type it in, pick a name and a pest.

Survive the shift
The round is on the clock. The CEO serves orders and squashes pests; the pests sabotage everything. A golden order pays ×2, and the last 20 seconds are overtime: every point ×1.5. Squashed pests watch the CEO hunt the others until they respawn.
3:00
Pass the headset
When time runs out, every device shows the recap: the round’s highlights and its most embarrassing moment. Then a new CEO is picked, and everyone chooses their next pest while the headset crosses the room.
Highest total wins
Every point lands on one running total per player, on whichever side they earned it. After the last turn the top score wins – and the final screen names the match’s Worst Service and Clumsiest Pest.
Watch out for the Employee of the Month: the round’s top saboteur. Its sabotage pays ×1.25 while it lives – and so does squashing it.
- Local network only

FAQ
Questions from the break room
Does everyone need a VR headset?
No. One Meta Quest headset is enough. Everyone else plays on an Android phone, and the headset gets passed around so everyone gets a turn as the CEO.
What does it cost?
The Android pest app, CEO: Pests, is free, so friends only need a phone to join in. The Meta Quest game for the CEO will be a paid app, planned at around $19.99.
How many people can play?
One CEO plus up to 8 pests – the host picks how many can join. You can even start with nobody joined and practise the line alone.
Which headsets are supported?
Meta Quest 2 or newer: Quest 2, Quest 3, Quest 3S and Quest Pro. The original Quest isn’t supported. The CEO plays with the Touch controllers – hand tracking isn’t used.
Which phones are supported?
Any Android phone with Android 7.0 or newer and a 64-bit processor. Every phone just needs to be on the same Wi-Fi network as the headset.
Do we need an internet connection or accounts?
No. The headset hosts the game on your local network and phones find it by its 6-digit code. There are no accounts, no matchmaking and no servers.
Which languages does the game support?
English and Hungarian (Magyar). Each device picks its own language, so a Hungarian phone and an English headset can play the same match.
Can the rest of the room watch the CEO?
Yes. Cast the headset to a TV from the Quest’s own menu, then switch on Casting in the game’s Options: the game picks graphics that hold up on the big screen and mutes the music on the phones, so the TV is the room’s only soundtrack.
What about motion sickness?
The headset’s Options have the usual comfort settings: turn by turning your body only, or with snap or smooth turning; add a comfort vignette while you move; and size the factory to your own height, so the counters sit where your hands expect them.
Do we have to learn the rules first?
No. Everyone gets short tutorial hints in their first round on each side, and each one goes away once you’ve done what it explains. You can switch them off in Options.
What if someone picks a rude name?
The person in the headset can open the Players page and hide that player’s name, so every device shows them as a numbered player instead – or remove them from the game, or report them to us. And anyone can switch on Generic player names in Options to see every player as player_1, player_2 and so on, on their own device only.
Is it OK for kids?
It’s cartoon slapstick, not horror, and the age ratings agree: PEGI 7 in Europe, ESRB Everyone 10+ in North America and USK 12 in Germany, for mild fantasy violence and a little crude humour.
What does Early Access mean?
The game is complete and fully playable – everything on this page is in it. Early Access means there’s more to come: new maps, new items and other content will keep arriving after launch.
When does it come out?
